Stairwell Books

Stairwell Books is a small press publisher specializing in new writers who provide good writing. Large publishing houses are less likely to take chances on new authors, but small private publishers like Stairwell Books can find and print the next generation of authors. The company was founded in 2002 by Rose Drew and Alan Gillott and has since published 50 books and several anthologies of the best local poets. Stairwell Books is now seeking writing that touches on big themes, brings new insight into ourselves and our past, and is both literary and visual. The company has robust national and international distribution channels and publishes nationally recognized authors.
