Northodox Press

Northodox Press is a publisher of literary and genre fiction representing authors born in or originally from the North of England. Launched in 2020 by Creative Writing Graduates from the University of Derby - James Keane, Ted O’Connor, and Amy Leacy. Having worked for the big 4 and various indies around the UK, the team aims to elevate disenfranchised northern authors currently unrepresented by the London-centric publishing industry.

Authors include Simon Van Der Velde’s The Silent Brother, shortlisted for the 2023 CWA Gold Dagger; Jack Byrne’s The Liverpool Mysteries Series repped by The Liverpool Literary Agency; Cheshire Prize Winner 2022, Sophie Parkes author of Out of Human Sight; and Emma Whitehall author of the bestselling YA Fantasy Clockwork Magpies.
