Is Publishing for Me? An Open Day with And Other Stories

Know someone who loves books and is considering a career in publishing? Tell them about And Other Stories' open day!

Guest speakers Judith Gates and Niriksha Bharadia from Faber, Adam Lowe from Peepal Tree Press and Eleanor Holmshaw and Katie McLean from The Poetry Business, alongside Stefan Tobler and Enobong Essien from And Other Stories, will offer insights into production, editorial, marketing and sales and answer your questions. Lunch is included and all participants will be able to choose one of selected books published by And Other Stories to take away.

And Other Stories is committed to helping the publishing industry represent all of British society and will reserve spaces for participants from marginalised backgrounds, as well as offering free admission and travel bursaries to help low-income participants travel from across the North and the Midlands. If you think this is you, please email enobong@andotherstories.org with a brief explanation of your circumstances.

Advance booking required. £15 (refundable to those on a low income).

10am - 3pm Carpenter Room, Sheffield Central Library, Surrey St, S1 1XZ
