Stuart Evers

Stuart Evers was born in Macclesfield, Cheshire in 1976. His first book, Ten Stories About Smoking was published by Picador in 2011 and won The London Book Award. His short fiction has appeared in Prospect, TheSundayTimes.co.uk, The Reader and 3:AM, and he regularly writes about books for The Guardian, The Independent, The Telegraph and The Observer.
If This is Home – his debut novel – was published in 2012. His second collection, Your Father Sends His Love was published by Picador in 2015. Stuart has previously contributed to Comma's Beta-Life anthology, and his essay on the great American short story writer, Sherwood Anderson features in Morphologies. Most recently, Evers has contributed to Protest: Stories of Resistance where he was coupled with Dr Michael Randle to write 'Aldermaston Marches'.
