Kathleen McKay
Kathleen McKay was born in Liverpool, the middle child of seven to a mother who worked in a factory and a father who was a docker. She has taught at colleges and universities in London, Leeds and Bradford, and now teaches creative writing at Hull University. Kath McKay’s publications include two poetry collections, Collision Forces (2015) and Anyone Left Standing (1998), and a novel, Waiting for the Morning (1991).
